this morning supposed to go to the 北京自然博物馆 Beijing Musuem of Natural History for dinosaur fossil + lots of other interesting things (yeah read about it from newspaper few weeks ago) BUT too bad, last night stayed online till 0200 so everyone late liao..will make sure we go by next weekend...kekekeke, that's plan lah..

so wanna have something a bit different, we didn't go to the Sculpting In Time for breakfast, may be because lazy to walk...as my son sure want me to carry him (this boy..ai) so we took the taxi to the 'steak and eggs' (last visit was on 3rd Jan 2006, almost 2 months already) to have something different.


since wanna have different breakfast mah, so no more jumbo breakfast as usual, i chose the porkchop (very heavy breakfast leh...i still did not feel hungry till 1600), SL get a pancake breakfast set and 2 bottom-less coffee...ok loh. something news...RMB116 in total. (found out that i spent more on food here in Beijing than in KL)

after breakfast, we walked (not near leh..i think at least 500-700m away) to the discounted shop, which is very close to 秀水街 (2nd photo below). woooooo today very windy, the 1st photo below is 长安大街道(SL n Xuan in front...see them?) temperature that moment sure less than 3c as today highest is 3c only which normally happened around 1300...



not many customers today, my son was running wild in the shop. try try try...i bought myself 2 pairs of cotton pants, Hilfiger and J.Crew for less than RMB180 + a nautica long sleeve RMB80. nothing for SL (she found a espirit khakis BUT so many pockets and need a lot of ironing..so gave up) and my son this round. (almost bought Xuan another pair of shoes which probably only fit him when he is 4 years old...then did not buy it as he still got 2 pairs of new shoes in KL which easily last him for one more year...)


hmmmm i took a look at my warddrobe that i found i am getting cheaper clothes for myself recently..and probably all discounted stuffs. i remembered in the initial few years of my working life i only wear dockers pants which cost me easily from RM150 onwards and i have more than 10 pairs! Shirts? only G2000 that time..aiyoh..but now? the amount spent not even 1/3 of the money i spent previously.... sign of people getting old? ??? :(

bought some tulips and some un-name flowers from market few days back...but felt cheated as it does NOT last one week ++ as the seller mentioned....(so big difference leh...BEFORE n AFTER....so next time choose your own flower...)








wooooo quite long post leh...anyway. next week will be out station for few days so no update till next weekend...
